We seek to follow Jesus who ventured out from his known world into new and strange realms of experience and proclaimed a Gospel of radical inclusivity – welcoming all people to open their hearts and minds to the unexpected beauty of God.

We believe that Christian faith is an ongoing journey of learning.

We seek to learn from Jesus, from the pages of scripture, and from each other in our varied traditions and experiences. Christians should be equipped to engage with contemporary issues in our communities and in all disciplines, the humanities, science, technology, and social as well as theological. Thinking through and questioning our faith ensures that it remains alive and dynamic.

All people are welcome because our diversity is a gift to be celebrated.

We seek to follow Jesus in transcending barriers of gender, disability, race, culture, class, age, sexual orientation and language. As a community we wish to draw upon the experiences of all those connected to us and learn to identify with those who are rejected, deprived and powerless.

We acknowledge our role in support of the work of chaplaincy to Higher Education in Manchester.

We seek to follow Jesus in engaging in worship and prayer which inspire and underpin all we are and do. In worship we explore and express what it means to live together as the people of God, and follow Jesus in the whole of daily life.
